Janet Martin brings her expertise as an Accredited Land Consultant. This accreditation provides the most experienced and highest performing land experts across the country— whether they specialize in agricultural land, timberland, ranch and recreational properties, or vacant land for development.
Successful completion for an ALC requires rigorous education program, a proven track record of performance, and a commitment to professionalism. When a land specialist becomes an Accredited Land Consultant, that individual joins a select network of real estate professionals who work together to build and share knowledge, develop trusted relationships, and expand business opportunities. The REALTORS® Land Institute confers the esteemed Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation to only those individuals who have achieved the highest level of education, experience, and professionalism.
Raised in Sulphur Springs, Janet attended college at Stephen F. Austin and received her BBA from East Texas State University. Prior to earning her Broker’s license, Janet was a partner with her husband in the family farm. Before that, she was a bookkeeper/partner at a local accounting firm.
Combining these helpful backgrounds in farm and ranch skills, as well as a business background plus her extensive experience as a full-time Realtor with ongoing education in her field, Janet makes an excellent choice when buying or selling. Known since 1999 by clients and colleagues alike for her tenacity, perseverance, fairness and honesty, Janet also has a reputation for timely responses to calls and e-mails. A humbling measure of Janet’s success is the amount of repeat customers and word of mouth recommendations. Portfolio of sales include multi-million dollar land transactions, Lake Cypress Springs, Lake Fork, weekend and hunting properties, horse properties, and estate and luxury properties, in Hopkins, Wood, Rains, Delta, Franklin, and surrounding counties in North East Texas.
Janet credits her parents and small-town upbringing as vital to her work ethic as well as her success. When she takes time off, she enjoys camping and ATV riding with friends, running, or helping her husband, Dan make improvements to their farm.
